Gaudet gained a lot of notoriety with his first important mural commission at St. Mary’s Basilica in Halifax at the age of 23. Following in the footsteps of his Renaissance heroes, he made a decision to carry on with mural-painting as well as paintings on canvas. 60-odd large-scale murals later, he is continuing to grow and expand his horizons. Growing disillusioned with all the expense and mediocre services offered by commercial galleries, he and his wife Sharon decided to open their OWN gallery (Est. 2009) at their home in the Resort Village of Manitou Beach,
SK., where they have both enjoyed high-quality, sustained exposure on their own terms.
Every visitor to G-G’s Gallery & Gifts at Manitou Beach, SK has the opportunity to peruse original paintings and see the sprawling mural portfolio that has built up over the years. Their bricks and mortar business has been very confidence-inspiring to their thousands of visitors over the past 13 years.
